The “Music Laboratory” promotes music education, with an emphasis on rural schools.

In the first stage we made the “Dictionary of Musical Instruments”: 15 short films about history, sounds, recorded musical themes, visually supported by animated graphics and friendly text – with and about piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, flute, oboe , clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, percussion instruments.

The “dictionary” was distributed through social media platforms and on laboratoruldemuzica.ro, accompanied by didactic materials – brochures that take over and develop the texts present in the films, accompanied by explanatory illustrations.

In the second stage, we organized online workshops with children from rural schools in Vâlcea county (municipalities of Muereasca, Bujoreni, Budești, Berislăvești, Copăceni-Racoviță, Stoenești, Mălaia, Sălătrucel, Bunești, Golești), where we talked about music and composers and presented the video materials from the “Dictionary”. The 10 partner schools received musical instruments (electronic keyboards), the basis of the “Music Laboratory” which will be able to support musical education in the school even after the end of the project.

The “Music Laboratory” is organized by the Cultural Association ISVOR in partnership with the National University of Music in Bucharest (UNMB) and is co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN) during the II/2020 session.
