On July 2, on the outdoor stage in the Festival Gardens, Imago Mundi held the “100” concert – a kaleidoscopic journey through the musical landscapes of Transylvania, Banat, Crisana, Maramureş, Bucovina, Moldova, Bessarabia, Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea , regions finally reunited at the end of the Great War, in 1918. The musical program is built starting from works by Enescu, Bartok, Rogalski and Satie, great composers inspired by Romanian folklore. Performed on classical and traditional instruments, visually commented by impressive video projections, the concert proposes an irresistible, metaphorical mix of traditional and contemporary.
