“ConnectArts – Notes” builds on the experience gained in the first two editions, focusing on encouraging collaborative art projects and publishing useful information for artists.

We invited three young poets and three bands of the new wave in jazz / crossover, who will create poetry and music together, in an interdisciplinary approach embodied in multimedia productions – built with the support of photo-video artists.

We have thus realized collaborative projects with the participation of creators of literature, music, photography and video art, invited to produce together artistic works starting from “notes” (with the meaning of reflections; but also of graphic representations of musical sounds) on the theme to the three primordial dimensions of the human being – synthesized by Lucian Blaga in “Three Faces”: instinctive (child’s play), emotional (young love) and rational (old man’s wisdom). We chose the theme of the three forms of knowledge due to their transdisciplinarity and the dynamic relationship through which they mutually enhance each other.

The guest artists are:
Eva Cosac (poet) / RVQ (Radu Vâlcu – guitar, Răzvan Florescu – vibraphone, Andrei Petrache – piano, moog, Mihai Balabaș – violin, live electronics, Alexandru Badea – drums)
Mihai Ivașcu (poet) / Andrei Petrache Trio (Andrei Petrache – piano, Alexandru Marin – bass, Gabriel Matei – drums)
Albert Denn (poet) / Marta Popovici & On The Fly (Marta Popovici – vocals, Bogdan Tănase – guitar, Adi Stoenescu – piano, Alexandru Marin – bass, Gabriel Matei – drums)
